According to Travis L. Williams, HBCU All-Stars, LLC Founder/CEO, “We have witnessed some of the most distinguished coaching moments and milestones with victories during the past month, with North Carolina Central University Head Men’s Basketball Coach Levelle Moton becoming the all-time winningest coach in NCCU history and Norfolk State University Head Men’s Basketball Robert Jones’ 200th career win with a huge win on the road against Howard University. Week 11 did not disappoint and has proved pivotal to so many outstanding teams in their respective conferences, MEAC, SWAC, CIAA, SIAC, CAA, and OVC. The SWAC has a three-way tie at the top of the league with Jackson State, Alabama State, and Grambling State Universities sitting at 4-1. Delaware State is playing some high-level basketball at 3-0 in the MEAC, with a four-game winning streak. Morehouse and Miles College are winning both East and West Divisions in the SIAC, along with Lincoln (PA) and Claflin leading the way in the CIAA Northern and Southern Divisions. This is a crucial time of the season to evaluate and scout the 2024 HBCU All-Stars watch list players, and many of them are showing why their names deserve to be on the nation’s top 65 list. I truly love watching these high-level games and big-time players up close and person. It is a great time witnessing some of our teams with two-, three-, and five-game winning streaks and leading their divisions. As always, we will have the best of the best in Black College Basketball representing in the Valley of the Sun.”

Our HBCU All-Stars national scouting staff has done an amazing job of getting out to the HBCU campuses and evaluating the nation’s top 65 HBCU players on our watch list. Also, the HBCU All-Stars tour continues to represent the HBCU All-Stars basketball movement at the highest level every week. We are less than 90 days and need you to get your tickets for this historic third annual HBCU All-Star Game at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix on Sunday, April 7.”

HBCU All-Stars LLC will honor the illustrious playing careers of Alvin Attles Jr., North Carolina A&T State University (CIAA), John Chaney, Bethune-Cookman University (SIAC), Leonard Eugene “Truck” Robinson, Tennessee State University (Independent), Robert Earl “Bob” Love, Southern University (SWAC), Zelmo “Big Z” Beaty, Prairie View A&M University (SWAC). Each of these amazing HBCU legends made their mark in this great game of basketball and reached the highest level of success in the NBA. We will recognize their impact on our HBCU basketball culture during the 2023-24 basketball season and host the third annual HBCU All-Star Game at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, AZ.

The HBCU All-Star Game is far more than a basketball game. HBCU All-Stars LLC will stage the HBCU All-Star Game Experience, a week-long festival that will kick off the week on Tuesday, April 2, and conclude the following Tuesday after the Championship game, April 9. It will celebrate the HBCU Experience and will be highlighted by an HBCU All-Stars College Admissions Fair, Community Outreach and Engagement, Pro Day Combine, Welcome Reception, Awards Ceremony, and Social Justice & Civil Rights panel discussion.

The HBCU All-Star Game will air live on the CBS Television Network and be available to stream on
