CELEBRATING THE BEST IN BLACK COLLEGE BASKETBALL

FOURTH ANNUAL MEN’S HBCU ALL-STAR GAME AND FIRST EVER WOMEN’S HBCU ALL-STAR GAME

Freeman Coliseum | San Antonio | Sunday, April 6, 2025

Statement from Travis L. Williams, HBCU All-Stars, LLC Founder/CEO

“Week #16 proved to be the difference maker for the SIAC regular season and Conference Tournament championships. Savannah State University won the SIAC Men’s Conference Tournament Championship, proving to be the best team at the right time despite entering tournament play with a lower seed. Miles College women’s team repeated as back-to-back SIAC Tournament Champions in a rivalry game versus Tuskegee University. Southern University men’s and women’s teams won the SWAC regular season Championship. Norfolk State University and South Carolina State University finished as MEAC Co-Champions and enter the Tournament with high hopes. The Norfolk State women’s team finished undefeated in MEAC league play and won the regular season championship as the number #1 seed. Tennessee State University men’s team reached the OVC Semi-Final Tournament Championship for the first time since 2013 as a #3 seed. North Carolina A&T women’s team won the CAA Regular Season Championship and enters the tournament with momentum. What a remarkable regular season for so many of our HBCU teams that have played with heart, intensity, enthusiasm, and a will to win on and off the court since the season began in November.”
