HBCU All-Star Game to Air Live on CBS Television Network                                Sunday, April 3 at 4:00 PM ET and will be available to stream on Paramount+ 

 HBCU All-Stars LLC has announced the first ever 2021-22 HBCU All-Stars Watch List featuring the nation’s top HBCU student-athletes from the MEAC, SWAC, CIAA, SIAC, Tennessee State, North Carolina A&T, and Hampton Universities. 

 

The HBCU All-Star Game will showcase 24 of the best student-athletes from the four Historically Black Athletic Conferences, representing the legendary coaches Team John McLendon (MEAC & SIAC) and Team Clarence “Big House” Gaines (SWAC & CIAA), along with Tennessee State, Hampton, and North Carolina A&T State Universities.

 

Travis L. Williams, HBCU All-Stars, LLC Founder/CEO and former head coach at two HBCUs Tennessee State University and Fort Valley State University shared, “What a blessing for us to celebrate Black culture, Black excellence, and Black history through our weeklong HBCU All-Star Game Experience during Final Four Weekend in New Orleans.  We are truly excited to showcase the nation’s best HBCU student-athletes and brilliant coaches with our CBS Sports partners on a national stage, one day before the Men’s National Championship Game and honor the legendary coaching careers of John McLendon, Clarence Big House Gaines, and illustrious playing careers of Dick Barnett, Earl “The Pearl” Monroe, Bobby Dandridge, Ben Wallace, and Rick Mahorn. 

 

The HBCU All-Star Game Experience and week-long festivities will include college admissions fair, pro-day scouting combine, legacy court dedication, and community outreach that will kick off the week on Tuesday, March 29 and conclude the following Tuesday after the National Championship game (April 5).  For more information, please go to www.hbcuallstargame.com
